Science experiment for kids, magnetism.

I found this great science experiment for kids about magnetism. It teaches your children how to make a compass. All you need is a bowl, some water, a pin, a magnet, and a cork.

Just rub the pin along the magnet in the same direction 20 times. Do NOT rub back and forth since it destroys the magnetism you are trying to create. Push the pin through the cork and put it in a non-metallic bowl filled with water. It should line up with the Earth's magnetic poles.

Would you try this one?
